How often do you think about the fact that many of us are a part of the laptop class? 

Just working behind a screen thinking we are doing meaningful work, while the real goods are being made by others. 

Idk, sometimes it hits me

Rather blustery day here on the Southcoast; happy to have a mostly indoor day seeding another round of onions and greens in the greenhouse.

We also started building new doors for our greenhouse, which were due to be replaced this winter.

No sustained warmth on the horizon this month; so a slow start to the growing season is in store for 2025.

Will make spring feel all the better when it eventually arrives; though there’s a good chance our chilly ocean temps keep our coastal locale air conditioned well into spring…

Loss of the ever so brief agricultural parity and then the gold standard untethered the economy from real world goods and ushered in our current era… allowing so human capacity to go beyond acts of physical production.
