Ngl, I'm ready for the holidays to be over. Everybody else having high amounts of stress creates a lot of stress and anxiety for me. It's not fun. I'm ready for January. 

Call me a Scrooge, shrugs.

Yet to each their own.

Our kids are in prime holiday spirit age and we embrace it… holiday cookies, Christmas pageants, gifts, just all around good time for all.

Yet reckon and realize the stress is real for many.

May January come slowly for us and quickly for you.

It's just everyone competing for time, that's the biggest stress factor.  Honestly, idgaf if it's Christmas, I don't need a special day to hang out with my family.  Also, I never need gifts, ever. 

We make it special for our kids, but one is grown with a family.  Mix that in with a spouse and few siblings that have their own families, then their extended families.  Sheesh, it's too much.

For sure on not needing gifts 

I think for me the bigger value is the school break and purposely taking time off from the farm so it makes the holidays special.

Yet can hear where you’re coming from.

I love that you take time away from the farm to spend extra time with the kiddos!
