Thought they were hard pivoting to sell more fresh foods or something โ€ฆ would imagine anything that allows customers to use SNAP benefits would make sense. Currently seeing the barbell consumers. Those with wealth spending, and those who receive govโ€™t support spending what they received. Also canโ€™t recall where DG is with real estate exposure and corp debt.

Our dollar general got a bunch of "fresh" vegetables about a year ago, you couldn't pay me to buy produce there it's always rotten

Not surprising. Imagine they would be better served sticking to long shelf life fruit and veg - apples, carrots, onions, potatoes, etc.

The apples I'll buy, the onions they get always rotten, the potatoes hit or miss if you get them like a few days after being out yeah they usually good but otherwise sketch, it be like the produce gets here late though
