Thought they were hard pivoting to sell more fresh foods or something โฆ would imagine anything that allows customers to use SNAP benefits would make sense. Currently seeing the barbell consumers. Those with wealth spending, and those who receive govโt support spending what they received. Also canโt recall where DG is with real estate exposure and corp debt.

Our dollar general got a bunch of "fresh" vegetables about a year ago, you couldn't pay me to buy produce there it's always rotten

Not surprising. Imagine they would be better served sticking to long shelf life fruit and veg - apples, carrots, onions, potatoes, etc.

The apples I'll buy, the onions they get always rotten, the potatoes hit or miss if you get them like a few days after being out yeah they usually good but otherwise sketch, it be like the produce gets here late though
