I just watched 5 mins so far haven't had time to finish but overall it's an eye roll from me, Faiz is one of the people who's job was to disrupt the leftist political movement that was gaining momentum in the country by herding them into the Dem Party and away from things like mass movement and labor organizing and civil disobedience and mass rallies. So this stuff is just nonsense from him, what our country still needs 10 years later is the same thing we needed then: a mass movement to overcome liberal resistance to an anti-capitalist/Labor party. And Lee, with all due respect to his journalism which I appreciate, is generally biased against leftist politics so it's going to be an annoying conversation for a leftist to listen to anyway 😂

I agree with all of it. I wish it would of gone into more along the posts that Bernie made after the dems lost, saying they lost due to identity politics, and what a distraction identity politics is for the populist movement, but solid takes and appreciated the part about losing rural America
