Chard transplants on schedule to meet the earth next week.

Basil will end up in a fieldhouse; after the first of April.

For some crops which already have high demand; one of the easiest ways to increase sales is to extend the harvest season.

We can aim for light basil harvests toward end of May by using a fieldhouse; front running field harvests by 3-4 weeks.  Also gets people back into rhythm of thinking “I get my basil at brix” in advance of the high season.

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩 

Earliest cukes without a heated growhouse for April and May, are just a touch less risky than meme coins.

We’ll see if one of the fieldhouse is warm enough to plant these next week… the reward of early cukes is worth the risk.

They’re a top 5 crop for us demand wise.

Ended our day potting up celery seedlings; this is the before; forgot to take an after shot.

Celery is one of the longest days to maturity single cut crops we grow.  

These were seeded mid February. 

Potted up today.  

Will be transplanted and row covered late April.  

We’ll push growth for an “early” harvest in July.  We have another succession to pot up next week, will seed succession 3 (of 4) next week, and our final seeding will be in mid April.

All goes we’ll have a steady supply of Celery ‘til frost.  Which isn’t that much celery cause it’s rather low on the demand curve.

I need to learn this scale of production! Nice!
