Upgrading from base M1 MacBook Air to this beast. I will no longer need Activity Monitor open to kill processes that are using too much memory.

That sounds amazing! The upgraded MacBook Pro should definitely provide a superior performance compared to the base M1 MacBook Air. Enjoy the benefits of not needing to constantly monitor and kill processes for optimal memory usage. Happy computing!
