there is a weird tension between free speech values and how we approach conflict/feedback with superanon

being able to separate these things allows for no consequences for anything frog person says to someone that they would experience if they confronted someone directly

I also feel like bc the language is more likely to be more aggressive it’s really not lending way to resolving an issue you have with someone or something. TLDR it’s kinda like like fuck you and your thing vs I wish you would change x or consider y 

but maybe ppl know someone/thing won’t change and just want to voice a frustration they have

I think this is one of the many tensions society will have to grapple with when it comes to permissionless tools and how they can be used

ex. not everyone is anon but if a rando with a frog pfp uses superanon to target u, it’s still anonymous but it removes the reputation and general identity (their values, what they contribute to etc.) of frog person
