Stoke Fire

Anyone considered staying smaller and just overbuilding buildings while they are cheaper? Haven’t run the numbers but I’m wondering if it’s possible that’s better than just maxing my population asap

I have tried this before the weekly games was added to the game. It was actually a great thing to do and i managed to make 10 lumber camps in a week! 
Then Noah found out and changed the building ratio. 
It's not possible to do this again because the building costs is based on num of villagers.

yes we do it all the time.

strat is:
1. max wood no food
2. put everyone in farms before stoke
3. stoke with no food killing half your population (food production unaffected since theyre all stuck in farms)
4. spam build lumber mills / farms
5. max food
6. stoke to restore population

some have done this strategy in the past.
