tokens are just hyperliquid and infinitely fractional versions of NFTs.

a lot of NFT products from the 2021 cycle might have simply just chosen the wrong primitive and would pop off with tokens instead

my guess is people want to trade more than they want to collect.?

agree. the disadvantage of scarce nft collections is that the top of funnel contracts either success (increased price prohibits new participants) 

there’s also benefit to the higher fidelity nfts provide.
