Alright, we just got home from the vet! It turns out little Lily (my son chose this name) had broken her leg when she was younger. It’s fully healed, but the bone healed in the wrong spots which is why she now walks/sits a little weird, but overall she’s ok and can live normally like this. A surgery can be done, but it’s a big one with metal bars, pins, and roughly $10,000 cost. As for the pregnancy, the x-ray showed no kittens in her belly, so he said unless he’s VERY freshly pregnant that’s the only way they wouldn’t be visible in the imaging. We’re going to wait a few weeks to get a full confirmation that she’s not pregnant, then we’ll get her vaccinations and all that good stuff. TLDR - high chance that Lily will be deemed intern #6

That’s great news! If she can walk and live with the leg like this, she might not need the surgery, right? It seems that your son liked her. I’m already seeing that we will talking about intern #6 a lot! ❤️ 43 $degen (it is the last ones I have for today).

Yup! He said the surgery isn’t needed at all and she’s perfectly fine to live like this! 💜 Oh ya, my wife and son (and me of course) fell in love with her very quickly. We wanted to wait though because both the leg (if it was something that had to be fixed + was expensive) and being pregnant could’ve made it difficult for us to keep her. But, things are looking good! Fingers crossed she’s not freshly pregnant and she’s got herself a new home! 💜 🍖 x 50 $degen

I think she got herself a new home and will have to deal with intern #4. 😅

Intern #4 is doing much better now, hopefully they’ll get along lol. Before I took Lily to the vet, my wife had her in the cat carrier and #4 was hanging out beside the carrier giving her some sniffs without any hissing or growling. Hopefully a good sign. That said, Furby has ran into Lily’s room downstairs a few times and Lily hisses at him and he’s the friendliest little kitten so, I dunno 🤷‍♂️

Oh well, they will need some time to adapt. But I think it will work out beautifully. ❤️ In the last few months, the number of your interns doubled! That was fast. 😅
