Re: dedegen and my position on the mod squad Dear @jacek, In season 6, you rolled out a new system you hadn't quite properly thought through. Last minute, you caved to the biggest whales. You told users to lock up their precious degen and receive an allowance to do what they want with. So they did. They opened up channels for "tip-for-tip" and "401k matching" (which you condoned). You misaligned incentives with the site's most active users, and now degen is being exploited by the people you bent the knee to. NOW, you have appointed a select group of people to clean up this mess with subjective standards and burdened us with the responsibility of deciding "what's right." If you want to unlock people's money and change the rules, fine. But I won't be a part of this. Sincerely, Burr

The fight against farmers is the #1 reason that degen has suffered so much and why we are where we are with it imo I still believe they should quit that fight (not winnable) and roll things back to the previous season just even as a start

If we let the farmers farm.. degen will die.. they’ll keep “earning” it and dumping it, slowly bringing it to zero.. Makes no sense to let them come and steal tokens they dont give a fuck about I agree i liked season 5 tho

That’s the problem here, when the OpenRank social score was dictating allo’s, farming was almost obsolete. Now we’re seeing (guessing here) 20-50% of the daily allowances being soaked up by farmers with rings / alts. That’s backwards from where we want to be. It’s gotten significantly worse, not better.

I mean, we can hope so, but even getting to a position where we had almost no farming last season, back to a huge % of the daily allo being farmed is serious regression. That’s the main problem IMO.

The main point is broken trust. Rules exist for a reason. This community is quite shattered right now. Changing the rules during a 90-day lock doesn't instill faith for future degens looking for stability. Whether or not this eliminates farming is moot. What else will they decide to change? And give the community power over?

Just because we couldn’t see it doenst mean there was no farming.. Now is simply more obvious and easily detectable Aka, easily punishable.. and this time there’s quite some money “at stake” for the farmers.. Y’all should be freakin happy cause we’re gonna get rid of these mfers once and for all Have faith.
