Tipping without an allowance will get you banned from tipping and invalidate any tips you receive. I'd stop doing this.

There is an action you can add to your action bar to check people's degen stats. "Check degen stats" it will show their allowance. This type of behavior is rampant on this site. Be careful of fake tips.

When in doubt you can always check Dune as well. If you need the exact site for daily allowances I can link it. There are times where someone has tipped me, the checker says they have like 5 allo when they tipped 100, but Dune showed they do in fact have like 1000+ allo.

When I suspect this, I check their cast history too. It usually reads like spam and fake tips. I never want to accuse a real user and also, I always fire a warning shot in case people genuinely don't know. (99% of the time they do)

Exactly, a bit of due diligence down different avenues is best. If they tip 250 and they’re an account with 78 followers, it’s a guaranteed fake 😂

I'm actually surprised that some people, even some PB holders, are dishonest when it comes to something as basic as tipping.

For sure, when finance is involved people will try anything to earn, and having a power badge doesn't necessarily mean they'll be an honest person either. I'd like to think most of us are, but some slip through the cracks no doubt.
