Moxiesplaining Journal Day 18: Public Service Announcement

PSA to the Moxie community:

Please do not (implicitly or explicitly) judge, shame, or otherwise pressure Members who don’t change their Fan Token split percentages from the default 20% to give most or all of their earnings to their Fan Token holders. 

It's good to have that option. But not everyone is in a position to give away as much Moxie as they’d like to.

What if they’re cash-strapped because the value they create has been misappropriated by extractive platforms for years?

What if they’re tending to their own basic needs so they can free up time and attention for work that benefits the FC network?

With Fan Token holdings, earnings are indirect, and they may not want to sell to realize gains. Everyday Rewards earned are available to claim the next day, if needed.

Also want to add to this, that I reserve the right to change my split at any time. Temporarily to earn fast liquidity in a moving market or permanently to offset costs like Danica is so eloquently stating. The split can be dynamic, its literally designed to do this. 

Owning a FT doesn't mean you own that person or the decisions they make. If you ever disagree with any of the choices I make or the direction I'm going in, my FT can be sold at any time. I never check, it won't hurt our relationship, because honestly I don't care, its your Moxie. I love our freedom to choose our own ways. 😂 

I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and I hope the byproduct of my passion for FC/WC benefits us both. None of this is said in anger or frustration, I just want to be completely transparent and Danica's cast was perfect in making this clear.

Too true brother! And honestly, even with the 20% split we’re only getting 50% of the Moxie earned, so those that go up from there - all the way up to 90% like yourself currently - get a huge cut slashed.

For now, I’m keeping mine at 20% (aka earning only 50%) so I can stack more frens and channels FT’s 😂

Exactly Breech, we all have different strategies and priorities. FTs are just one, at the end of the day all of the holders benefit through Boosts, through friendship, price appreciation, etc. These are all trends that are moving up and to the right, so focus on the whole system, build together. 👊 😁

Exactly! At the end of the day, everything you've said is so true, and the FT's price appreciation will pretty much come naturally. 

A few of my biggest winners have been people set at 20% too, it's not like they can't return huge gains, cuz they can! 😊 🤝
