Warpcast is giving out $5 each day to the top 100 casters.  

Rewards are given based on the amount of engagement your casts get divided by the number of active followers you have. 

We'll run this experiment through the end of the year to see if it drives people to create more interesting content for Farcaster.

Why I'm excited for this experiment

1. Daily payout in USDC on @base to your existing wallet

2. Algo normalizes followers (we're going to keep adjusting it), so a much wider pool of people will be eligible

3. You don't have to use Warpcast to be eligible; cast from anywhere

so from what I understand, this will be a more "fair" approach so not only big accounts with obviously more engagement due to amount of followers be the only ones getting it, correct?

While you're right, "small" accounts can get a reward with this approach, you'll notice that every single recipient of the rewards is followed by DWR, Jesse, Ted, Woj, etc. Even the small accounts, meaning they get engagement from these large accounts which is why they've won the $5 reward.

You won't see a random account with 1200 followers that isn't followed by the aforementioned OG accounts every win one of these rewards, EVER.
