Agreed. I think my point is that we shouldn't be surprised it's taken so long, because it takes a long time to figure out all the core infra nodes.

Now there might be enough of the core infra nodes for the first mass crypto product, as you and David are arguing for.

I could see Warpcast being the first smash hit. Now that they've got the web version going, this thing is great. One needs to understand very little about crypto to get value out of it, much like one needed to understand very little about Web/HTML/HTTP/ETc to use facebook.

You can definitely make the argument that a certain amount of technical literacy and familiarity is required prior to wider adoption. With that being said, Facebook understood that in order to appeal to masses they needed to present themselves in a way that was easy to understand & abstract the technical from the experience.
