I’m always curious abt folks that don’t have the phone icon in their dock. Where do you keep it, for when you need to make a call? I don’t call a lot but I feel like I need it just in case

Makes sense, esp if it’s in recents, that’s not a lot of extra steps

pull down, search and type (and if i use it a bunch, it’ll already be there in recent) 

or ask siri

That makes sense! I might have to try that. I use search a lot for other stuff.

I do as much as I can with search.

If I’m calling someone I know (almost always my wife), I search their name and hit call.

If it’s a place that appears on Maps, I search the name and hit call.

Otherwise I search for the Phone app and type in the number manually.

I use Siri to call people or dial numbers I say out loud.
