Boomers decided we can't have houses, or build new ones. So we decided we don't want to use the money that paid for those (once affordable) houses.

I really like this thought. like if the system sucks... just ignore it and everyone use a new way that's more fair for everyone and just never go back to the previous system. "congrats you won capitalism. enjoy a whole lot of useless currency not backed by anything. we'll be over here... "
