Spot on. This is why I don’t dabble in meme coins at all. Sure there *might* be money to be made, but (i) most people lose money and I’d be arrogant to expect otherwise, and (ii) it’s a zero-sum game of musical chairs, so even me making money would be at the expense of someone else holding the bag after the music stops.

It’s like a game of hot potato where the potato (the money at stake) grows bigger with every round trip. It’s a completely sterile and circular circlejerk masquerading as a new frontier (yet NFTs and ICOs did the same to some extent in previous cycles).

Tbh you need real anarchists (not ancaps larping) from central casting for this to work. It wouldn’t look like some utopian redesign of blockchain—it’d be tactical, subversive, and it will burn the tokenomics playbook
