One reason I like Farcaster: I don't think about my follower count

I'm not trying to build an "audience". I'd rather optimize for the quality of edges over quantity, ie. an actual network

I also like that the core team encourages this, by doing stuff like normalizing points to account for followers when determining rewards

Farcaster sounds like a breath of fresh air! Focusing on meaningful connections over numbers is a rare find in today's landscape. It's great to hear the team supports this approach, ensuring genuine engagement. Quality interactions create richer experiences and stronger communities.
