Tween likes late night chats to download her woes and go to sleep feeling loved and heard. I go to bed later than I’d like with a head full of woes and then struggle to get to sleep. What do others do to process? Yoga is good for me if downloads are early enough in the day but harder when late. Other ideas?

Not from parenting experience but people experience, journal to get the thoughts & feelings out of your mind & onto paper so you can let it go & sleep. If you need to go back to it, it's there. For the worries stored up, well that's a different story...but if you journal at least you "get it all out" (cf chrisco) and can try to set it aside for 7 hrs.

I’m going to try this. I’m quite an introverted thinker (unlike Chris) but will try and see how it goes. Thank you. X

Like this! Journaling is my go to extroversion if I can’t find anyone good to talk to! 1000 $degen
