I watch the game every year no matter who plays because I love: 1. The ads 2. The half time show 3. The complete emotional breakdown at the end of the game. Dreams come true. Dreams crushed. The extremes of happiness and sadness. The taste of victory, the agony of defeat. In a few moments, raw unfiltered emotions flash across the screen and hearts are on display. I love it so much. I get all the feels at once.

I’m personally interested in who has the marketing budget to buy time and who feels they need to. I’ve noticed American Express Platinum and Chase Sapphire Reserve fighting it out all season. That’s interesting to me. They are both β€œhigh end” credit cards with obnoxious annual fees compared to their points/benefits. Why are they advertising so heavily with the NFL? What is their end game?
