That’s insane. What if someone dies and the family isn’t able to renew it in time? A lifetime of photos gone.

Hopefully i dont pass as “that person” but making /apple the only garant of your data with no backup & not paying the service is not the best idea. I would backup

Or what if your credit card gets stolen during a 31 day trip and you’re not home to activate the new card
