Every time I log into my Wordpress site, I just hate it. It’s so convoluted and the number of clicks and decisions I have to make to post really sucks. I have over 20 years of posts so migrating elsewhere feels too big, but I want to.

What are you using in terms of theme and plugins? Block editor has come so far; if you happen to be using one of the classic page builder plugins like Elementor, it’s worth exploring whether you can get rid of any legacy plugins.

I moved from self-hosted to hosted with wordpress.com this year and consolidated all of my blogs into the one instance I have. I have zero plug-ins and only one theme, the one I'm using.

Ah well 😕 it does sound like you’re setup exactly how I’d recommend. Is it the WordPress(dot)com upsells that get in your way? Curious to hear what you’d change
