good explainer ^-^ i thought about posse a lot when i started structuring my homepage. i ultimately decided not to follow that model for the same reason crossposting apps like yup didn't stick for me – i don't like repetition across platforms ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i took a more compartmentalized approach where i treat platforms like separate "clubs" where i have different social groups and convos. i don't think being fragmented across contexts is that bad. if someone wants to see the aggregate of that online social activity, they can visit my homepage feed. the general goal is the same tho. have a permanent home that i own and will persist while the clubs i belong to can come and go with little impact
