Honeycrisp are great amount of acidity, sweetness, and crisp. Mountain rose apples when in season are worth trying.

But even among honey crisp there are varying degrees of quality. 

I love fresh, crisp apples from Michigan in the fall. 😋 Honey crisp, Fuji, whatever they are, imma eat them. Mealy apples need not apply.
