I have followed Brian Roemmele on Twitter for years. What’s your read on him? I can’t tell if half the things he says are bullshit but it is definitely engaging.

My take is that he’s a positive force, an optimist and cares deeply. The way he deflects when people talk shit is so great. His writing is quite good. Even if I don’t agree with stuff, overall I think he’s extremely interesting and is actually doing things, not just talking about it or being a dick.

I guess the bottom line for me is that he’s contributing in a real and positive way. He’s teaching people how to build private, on-device, AIs! He built GPT4all. I have learned a lot from him. I respect him for sure.
