Why are people shocked with these results? The VP Elect of the US called school shootings "a fact of life". Seems pretty obvious that if you build a society where school shootings are normalized and you'll end up with a population that thinks CEO shootings are acceptable.

The weirdest part for my brain is, I would bet that there is not much overlap in the segments you describe if they were plotted as a Venn diagram (fact of life <>ceos fair game)

I think far-left and far-right segments have more in common than they'd like to admit. Horseshoe theory of politics and all. What is really interesting is that more and more people are being pulled in the "far" direction.
