I feel the same working for Amazon. Even though I technically don't even work for them but for a DSP. I'm an independent contractor. On avg I deliver about 300 packages a day when I work. My boss makes about $5 per package. I'm getting paid about $20 per hour and work about 11 hrs a day. So I make $200 while she makes $1500. Lets say she wastes on gas and maintenance $500 max. Still making $1000 off me. And I do all the labor.

That is how work goes sadly. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. But sometimes someone who grew up poor can be successful in starting a business.

I have to admit that being a freelancer is a challenge and sometimes it makes me double think life choices lol but I still won’t change it because I have my independence and I’m my own boss.

This is the truth they try to cover up by preaching company loyalty while working you for free overtime as salaried employees in the name of looking good on your performance reviews for your own "career growth" and potential raises and promotions which never come often enough. It's all a farce. 🙁
