Forecasting platform Kalshi won its case against the CFTC, but still faces closure The U.S. District Court ruled in favor of prediction platform Kalshi, effectively approving the placement of bets on the outcome of the presidential election. On the same day, the CFTC filed an emergency motion to stay the decision for 14 days. The company believes that the regulator is dragging out the process, which will have disastrous consequences for the platform.
