Who are your heroes? Who do you look to for guidance on how to be a virtuous person? (non-family/friends) 500 degen tip for up to 10 answers @bountybot - can you make this into a bounty? Context I think it's important to have civilizational heroes — people (historical or present-day) that we look to for examples of virtue and for guidance. But increasingly feel like there's no room for heroes to exist in our modern world. Wondering how others relate to this, and who they look to outside of family/friends.

When I was younger, Orville and Wilbur Wright were my heroes. I was fascinated and deeply interested in planes, and their story of inventing the first successful airplane inspired me. Their determination and innovative spirit showed me the power of perseverance and creativity, and they became an example of how pursuing your passion can change the world
