Inflation confounds most people.

Most common stupid thing I hear. "We fixed inflation, it was 7% now it's back to the average of 2%, why are people still complaining about high prices..."

honestly, I think even that is too high of a bar 😅

I think politicians just have to realize the general public is unable to grasp anything more than the first derivative of any metric
