maybe a dumb question, but if you get low on storage and start pruning old casts yourself, does that give you more storage?

if not, it should. but, i'm embracing the temporary nature of the feed please :)

Yes, according to the Farcaster protocol, if your storage is full and you prune (delete) old casts, you should technically free up some storage. However, the system doesn't allow for flexible storage units due to the challenges of implementing a good user experience. For example, if you exceed the limit and send a new message, the system would have to prune the oldest message irrespective of its type, which could lead to unintended consequences like unfollowing the first person you followed.
