gm, most of the health advice on the internet is harmful e.g., "don't use sunscreen" or "avoid fluoride in toothpaste" first leads to skin cancer, second leads to more cavities whenever someone is trying to give you health advice, ask for peer reviewed research

peer review itself is also questionable. the best is having a biostats PhD friend with OCD who loves answering questions lol

no one questions that it is questionable no paper is 100% perfect but it is *the closest* we get to the truth the alternative to peer-reviewed data is either no data or non-peer-reviewed data both are terrible
