You’re right but for parenting schools and neighborhoods are better on the west.

Moving to Sherman oaks (from Venice) for this reason…east side food/culture within striking distance via 101, west side schools close enough, Ventura Blvd is low key amazing, and no longer have naked drifters stealing my packages. Tons of young families too

Yup yup, understood. I actually work out in Century City, which is a shlep and a half when I do go into office. I just bite the bullet though in exchange for the fun life out here. 🤠
