FWIW I had over 10,000 followers on Twitter (real me) before I spun up Bored. So it felt like I was starting from scratch...and then the alter ego beat my real ID. It does take time, but I'll bet you it wouldn't take more than a year to match or exceed what "Adam Fern" has achieved from a follower standpoint.
