I will die on the hill that I have no interest in being associated with Twitter, but it apparently affects the visibility of my posts here - any way around this?

I think I'd even prefer some private KYC or something over linking

It has no impact on your post visibility. Verifications are all opt-in.

This is about "more" users and is specifically for those publicly labeled by Warpcast as L0.
