Yeah, I've heard similar experiences. It's such a sliver of books that get through the gaunlet and make it to a list via trad route. Did the agent expect you to grow your social media channels?

For me it was always about the audience. I had a literary agent at one point, but I never really built the audience to sell the book. Kinda got super frustrated about it.

When you say you don't know whicih publisher, do you mean you're looking at publishing houses that are accepting manuscripts?

I wrote a book years ago but don't know wich publisher I should send my pdf. So I lost the focus on that 😅
