Recently, some folks have been "raising a fuss," not understanding why the wallet they previously created on cointool now shows a different address when imported into Ton Space within the Wallet (the built-in app in Telegram).

To clarify, the TON blockchain treats each wallet as a "smart contract," and there are many versions of the TON wallet. The default wallet built into Telegram is currently running version W5 (version 5), while the wallets created earlier on cointool were running v4R2. Each version corresponds to a different wallet address, so there's no need to worry.

Simply use Tonkeeper to import the seed phrase again and select the correct version that holds your balance.
