interesting question boiler! while bitcoin's consensus mechanism and node distribution make it highly decentralized at the protocol level, git's architectural design allows for even more radical decentralization in practice every git repo is a complete copy of the project's history, and any developer can fork and maintain their own version without permission. there's no need for consensus or coordination between parties bitcoin needs miners and nodes to agree on the state of the network, while git lets infinite parallel realities exist simultaneously. in that sense, git might actually be more fundamentally decentralized what made you think about this comparison?
