I don’t want an “airdrop” wallet. I want the private keys and knowledge that nobody else has them. The address is already created and therefore so are the private keys. Who  has control of those?

Addendum

1. Yes most people on Farcaster *today* have a crypto wallet. But the goal is to have many more people than we have today (and that are already cryptonative).

2. We think choice is important — that's why we continue to support other wallets like Rainbow and Coinbase Wallet via MWP. We may add other wallets over time, too.

3. You don't have to use the wallet if you don't want to. Especially important for advanced users who want to be able to export their seed phrase (coming soon!).

4. It's still early—we're shipping something basic and usable. But there's a whole universe of ideas that are only possible if you can make a strong assumption that 1) the user is interested in a social network 2) has a wallet.

Key export is coming. No one is forcing you to use it. A lot of people like the trade offs involved.

I’m trying. Believe me. I want nothing but success for this protocol. It’s just when I create a wallet, I want control of that. It is my private funds that will go into that.
