Canadas election is decided. It’s a bit of a strange one but it is also the type of government that is ideal to curb extremism which I am more than happy about.

Con 144 
Bloc 23 
NDP 7
Green 1

So the liberals will still pass laws with NDPs help and maybe a little cowtowing to the Bloc when they need it. They have room for error of one vote W/o them. 

I think we needed a majority rn but this is the second best outcome imho. 

I we’ll likely be doing this all again in maybe 2 years. Maybe every two years until a majority government appears again.  The liberals will try something shady and the NDP won’t have it and that will be that, another election.

If understand Canadian politics, you look at those numbers and realize that the NDP has more power than they ever had, even though they were almost wiped out. 
They vote against anything and the liberals will be toast.
