AI actually has very limited capacity to “replace” human workers. Eventually the truly original data runs out. When all it has is synthetic data then what’s the point? Funny pictures? Privately installed AIs running governments? No thanks. For every story of “my 11 year made a video game in 20 minutes, there are a million others cursing at cursor daily. You know I like the idea of network states, up to a point. They’re more likes network of communes right? You’re still going to have to pay taxes to the “mother state” that your commune is on. Unless you have the guns to take the land and defend it. (Probably not). Like minded people, living and working together, separate yourselves totally if you like, that’s fine. But eventually you will get bored of the staples you can grow and need to interact with other communes and human history repeats itself, communes become villages, become towns etc. https://open.substack.com/pub/mikebrock/p/the-plot-against-america?r=4n897&utm_medium=ios
