On March 6, 2025, the FDA approved a groundbreaking treatment called Encelto for adults with Macular Telangiectasia Type 2 (MacTel), a rare eye disease that causes progressive vision loss. This is the first-ever approved therapy for MacTel, offering hope to patients who had no options before.
