In order to dampen allowance farming, points earned for tipping on Warpcast are now based on quantity of $RARE tipped, rather than count of tips. Also scheming on some cool new ways to earn points in WC :) As always, feedback appreciated!

This is not really clear. So, does this mean if you have, say, an allowance of 100 then it's better to give all 100 to one post than split it up into 10 different posts?

It means it doesn't have an impact on allowance either way

Oh, it says it affects points not allowance, so that is points received by someone as tips? It still isn’t clear then. Haven’t points always been the accumulation of the quantity of the tip amounts? Or is this just a way of saying that tips under 1 RARE won’t count to keep the bots from spamming those because they were rounded up to 1 before or something?

I meant allowance. What it means is that if you have 10 allowance, you won't boost tomorrow's allowance by tipping 1 ten times. It's the same factor on tomorrow's allowance to tip 10 at once. This makes it so bots farming with fractional tips won't be rewarded with more allowance anymore.

Hmm, this seems to be a disadvantage for small allowances too, though, not just bots. Not sure how exactly it was before but if you were able to grow by spreading out your tips to many people then that seems better for both the tippers and receivers. If you get a boost based on your total tip amount instead, the people with big allowances will grow theirs much faster than those with small ones. It would be better to encourage growth for more people and most have small allowances. Boosting by percentage of allowance tipped daily instead of amount would be more fair. What about just invalidating as tips less than 1 RARE? That would reduce the count of tips overall a lot and discourage farming while still giving small accounts a chance. Regardless, could the details of how it all is supposed to work (what boosts, what is invalid) be added to this tip document? https://superrare.com/airdrops There are nuances that many people are confused about and having a source of truth would be appreciated.
