I'm being boosted, so I will take this opportunity to introduce myself: I'm a passionate crypto software developer. I enjoy coding, maths and visual arts. I'm especially interested in zero knowledge atm (I wrote circom-lsp out of frustration) gm/gn <3

What languages/plaftorms/chains do you develop with as a crypto developer? I looked at Solidity a while back but didn’t get far with it. But I also didn’t have a good project to work on, and that’s how I learn best.

I mainly work with solidity + foundry, but I have dipped my toe a bit in other technologies as well. After solidity the most prominent one is circom, a zkSNARK DSL About having a project: It's important to find something really fun even if it's a bit hard and even if it means you'll get stuck with it for a while. For solidity, I'll recommend doing the cryptozombies course, and after that here are some ideas you could develop: - fully on-chain NFTs (solidity code that generates html/svg) - Some kind of gambling game with chainlink - Some kind of on-chain game replication (e.g. chess) - Any AVS (research eigenlayer and shared security) You could of course also develop something generic like an NFT marketplace but that's a bit disheartening to start with imo
