The best opportunity for you to grow on Farcaster is NOW Just like it was in late January when I joined. There were not as many people around, but you could immediately feel that they were here for the long run and not for a quick buck. What you should understand is that “the key is to plant seeds during the quiet times” You build hard when (almost) nobody is around, make friends, learn, GIVE.. Those who stay here now are passionate people who love the crypto space and wanna see it grow.. They cant wait to meet smart people that might help the mission.. and if you’re reading this you probably are one of them.. So keep planting the seeds and give them water Once the right seasons comes, you can collect what you planted And its gonna be juicy.🍉

You ain’t lying and by next month it will be even lower when they nuke the Powerbadges … time to grow is now. The quick buck mentality will weed bunch of people outta here. I am glued to this already ain’t no power badge , low tip etc that will weed me out 😆

Nuke the power badges? I have only heard they were going to stay because the devs think the majority like the way priority mode works with them.

He probably means PB wont matter for degen allowance next season I think priority mode and PB work well.. We just need to find a way to make new-human-good-users surface

They already got rid of allowance priority for PB of the minimum 1000 and I was already told several times that PB will be nuked and will no longer exist on WC. This will be detrimental on all levels but I didn’t have a PB for months so I care less about these decisions … The hats stays on regardless.

You are confusing Degen with Warpcast. They are not the same teams. Jacek (Degen dev) put in and then removed the allowance for PBs. Degen uses stats from Warpcast to determine allowance but he said that will change next season. Nothing Jacek does influences the mechanics of Warpcast itself, though. DWR (Warpcast dev) has always defended the power badge and has no plans to change it or use something else to rate priority mode even though he admits it is flawed. I would be happy to see PBs go or just not be used to prioritize posts, but protesting it has been a losing battle so far. https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0x8c2c0193

I always knew that they are different but they are so embedded that it makes you think that they are the same as they most likely work together. So PB wont be nuked from WC but it will nerfed for future seasons on Degen. Got it.

Yeah it sounds like next season they will be much less intertwined and Degen will be more focused on itself (having people accumulate and lock) vs helping Farcaster/Warpcast grow.
