right before social media became the rage... we would spend our evenings eating mushrooms, drawing on the walls of the apartment with sharpie, and playing with a hot glue gun. this television/sculpture is in the bottom of the mississippi somewhere now. im sorry about that. (also, some of my earliest oil paintings in the back ❤️)

The carpet lends such authenticity to the point in history mentioned! 🤣 Yes, life was so much simpler before social media! We didn’t have an implied obligation waiting to fill every spare moment of our days. I want to hear the story of the TV sculpture ending up in the river!

This was a punk house so there was an overlapping of tenants for about 8 years. I hadn’t been living there for a year and I got a call that all the tenants were getting kicked out and I had to get the TV. I certainly didn’t have any place to put it. it’s so bulky and heavy it takes a couple ppl to move it. It was a foggy night so we got drunk and tossed it off a bridge.
