I'm so bad at "left or right" that Costco has to double check my answers ☠️☠️☠️☠️

You can do what my husband does and hold up your hand with your palms facing away from you and extend your thumb out... the hand that looks like an "L" is the left hand!

I have to think about it too, but I'm very predominantly right handed so I just think about what hand I use to write and hold a fork with!
