Can you give some more clarity to what the "Creator Economy" is? Is it only related to Web3, or would something like discussions for artists on the best marketplaces for prints of their art be appropriate? When you say "making stuff", what kind of stuff? I'm just trying to understand the context of things we could talk about here. Thanks!

not strictly related to web3! marketplaces for print discussion is an ideal topic for the channel tbh - would love to see that actually! I see the best chance for /creators to become useful is as a place for the practitioners who are trying to make their "thing" work Is there any type of content you want yourself?

I would really like to find some folks (photographer or other artist) who has set up their own shop online selling prints of their work and pick their brain for some best practices or cautionary tales in logistics of things like making the prints (papers, inks...), deciding on what sizes to offer, how to best ship them, how to price work, how to promote/advertise it, etc. I've been trying to set myself up with selling prints of my work for the last few months and have been paralyzed by so many decisions to make and not wanting to make costly mistakes. I just bought a large format printer that will be delivered this week and I am trying to motivate/educate myself for the next steps. So it would be amazing to be able to chat with people about things like that. If this channel would be a place for those kinds of discussions, I'd be pretty excited!

this is exactly the kind of energy i am trying to cultivate!! Tagging @ccarella.eth who I know has done this kind of thing before (also sorry we never shipped the dropshipping feature for you haha priorities shifted) i'll share more on this tomorrow, but basically my vision for the entire energy of the channel is oriented around this quote: "When art critics get together they talk about Form and Structure and Meaning. When artists get together they talk about where you can buy cheap turpentine." – Pablo Picasso
