Sometimes, many ideas in software design are interesting and engaging. Users love them and interact well with them. However, users are often unaware of the issues these features can cause in the background on their device. If such features are removed, it is always for the benefit of the user. A good design should pay attention to resource consumption and system performance, as they have a direct impact on the overall efficiency.

Why couldn’t it have been a feature that people with devices that can handle it could turn on? TBH it was a usability issue for me to have them animated and I would have liked the option to still them without killing the fun for others. Just seems weird to completely take away something that brought joy to many when it is only a problem for a subset and it could be optional.

Absolutely agree with you! This can be a good user experience based on the user's own choice. @v @dawufi @dwr.eth
